AIRBUS A340-300EH ( 2)

Air Mauritius acquired two A340-300E in December 2006 configured in a 3 Class
newa340_300Cabin layout of

 

  • 12 First (F),
  • 33 Club Mauritius (W)
  • and 254 Economy (Y).

The aircraft have been deployed on the London and Hong Kong routes. Up front, First class goes flat-bed. Laid-out in a generous 80-inch pitch, the airline's choice of cocoon seats features state-of-the-art technology and individual comfort with fingertip control.

This plane is the most advanced long-range passenger jet available today and incorporates the very best of modern technology. Equipped with the most up-to-date satellite communications systems, the Airbus comprises navigation by satellite as well as facilities such as fax and telephone.

Ta_340he A340-300 have a capacity of 294 seats with the following configuration;

12 in First Class,

28 in Club Mauritius

and 254 in Economy.

AIR BUS A330-200

a330_1The first A330-200 Trochetia which was  delivered in 2007 had as its aim to  improve the  regional offer and  medium haul routes to  India, Asia and Australia. The aircraft is equipped with GE CF6 engines and is  operated in a two class configuration –

  • 24 lie-flat business class
  • and 251 economy class seats.

It features fly-by-wire controls and shares the unique cockpit commonality across the entire Airbus Family.

With the A319, Air Mauritius elected to blend its own standard of in-flight service with those set by Airbus for single-aisle cabin configuration.
Enlarged stowage bins and greater seat pitch have been designed to provide enhanced individual comfort on board the Mon Choisy. While our passengers sit back and enjoy our in-flight entertainment, they will be able to experience the dedicated service provided by our cabin crew that now has more facilities in the galleys to cater for their needs.

The A319-100 have a capacity of 120 seats with the following configuration;

  • 12 in Club Mauritius,
  • 108 in Economy.
  • It has a seat pitch of 39 inches (Club Mauritius),
  • 32 inches (Economy Class) and a wide aisle for faster turnaround and double-trolley service.
  • Passengers in Club Mauritius have special adaptors for laptops

ΑΤΡ72-500 ( 2)

The two aircraft are configured at 72 seats with 31 inches seat pitch. The ATR72-500 represents an improvement on the first generation ATR family, with greater comfort from a new cabin interior and advanced sound-proofing, and is a reference aircraft around the world for its efficiency and reliability.

The ATR72-500 will service the inter-island routes namely Rodrigues and Reunion.

BELL JET RANGERS HELICOPTERS( 3)helicopter

The Bell Jet Ranger is one of the most popular light turbine helicopter.

It has a seating capacity of four(4) passengers excluding the pilot.

The present fleet consists of three helicopters which were bought brand new from the Bell Helicopter Textron company in Montreal, Canada in 1997 and 1998, in replacement of the two old aircraft which were in operation since 1983.
